MOD HARI MESRA PELANGGAN 2014

For fun and education, some of us decided to head to Ministry of Development's Hari Mesra Pelanggan 2014 :D

PDOCA to design SMSHB

Alhamdulillah, PDO Chartered Architects (PDOCA) has again been entrusted by the Government of Brunei Darussalam to design a new building for the only secondary school currently in Temburong, Sekolah Menengah Sultan Hassan Bangar. A contract agreement between the Client and the Consultant team was held at the Ministry of Education building on 26th May 2014 which was followed by a short presentation by our Principal on our current preliminary design ideas.

It is hoped that the concept of Learning Space and Green Building can be incorporated into the building to create a better environment for a more proactive education and development for the students: Our future leaders of the next generation.

Our Consultant Team also includes Othman & Associates Consulting Engineers (C &S), PPP Ilmu Alim (M & E) and Jurukur Bahan & Pengurusan Utamacon (QS)

Crown Prince's Visit to BBBB, Tutong Site

Alhamdulillah our BBBB project in Tutong was visited by  His Royal Highness Prince Hj Al-Muhtadee Billah, the Crown Prince and Senior Minister at the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) on Saturday, 24th Rejab 1435 / 24th May 2014 around 11.00 in the morning.

Days to Ramadhan

30th Anniversary for Puja-Dinner on the 28th January 2014

To commemorate 30 years anniversary since its establishment, PUJA (Brunei) held its Grand Annual General Meeting Dinner at Huaho Manggis Mall on 28th January 2014.  Guest of Honour of the day was YB Pehin Suyoi, Minister of Development.  Alhamdulillah, PDOCA showed support and has again participated in this major event.

The event kicked off with CPD talks by speakers from Singapore on Green Architecture, followed by a video of the PUJA's progress and achievements during the years and an appreciation speech by the Head of PUJA (B).  Dinner was served soon after with entertainments by our local artist and the anticipated Lucky Draw. Awards were also given to talented students from Design courses for their achievements in their projects in regional programmes and competitions.

The dinner ended with guests exploring mini-exhibition showcased by the students.
